So what is actually going
on and what kind of sites are targeted? My opinion is Google is trying
to hit sites that over-optimize their pages and manipulate rankings by
engaging in aggressive link building techniques.
I say they want to drive
the public to buy their Adwords mostly, and adwords results are not as
good as they were in the past. They created this atmosphere by making
it so by coming up with all these algorithms and changes. They put in
their terms against schemes to manipulate rankings etc. so they can
manipulate the public into buying their products and services.
New sites will probably
be screened for any type of unnatural link patterns, like link wheels.
Web 2.0 sites are still
good but not as before.
I would not do backlink
blasts from Fiverr now.
Buy up extensions of your
domain; com, net, biz etc. It helps keep your competitors from using
Negative SEO dirty tricks against you.
Proper SEO - building
natural links to sites with good content, titles and keywords is
recommended.
Sudden traffic surges to
